Project Description: TextiCo needed to connect their production floor machinery with their central Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for real-time tracking. ServeIT designed a ruggedized industrial Wi-Fi and wired network covering 50,000 sq. ft. of factory space. We ensured that all production data flowed seamlessly to the management offices for accurate inventory and order tracking.
The factory environment is harsh, with high interference from heavy machinery and dust. Standard office networking gear would fail quickly. We had to source industrial-grade equipment and design a network topology that could withstand electromagnetic interference and physical stress.
Installed shielded CAT6 cabling and IP67-rated industrial access points.
Created isolated VLANs to separate machine traffic from office data for security.
Enabled real-time production dashboard monitoring for floor managers.
Provided training to factory staff on basic system troubleshooting.
